Items to Create for Project The Big Picture Question is: How does where you live influence how you live?
1. PowerPoint about the area/country
Should include information on physical and human geography, culture, and a mapping activity.
Should be printed in handout format.
All 8th grade students will participate in research for this portion of the project.
A part of the class will be put in a group to develop the PowerPoint and present it to the 7th grade.
2. Footnotes and Bibliography of sources used – This should be included at the end of the PowerPoint.
All 8th graders will take notes in Noodles and develop citations for each notecard.
Each 8th grader will be responsible for developing his/her own bibliography.
3. Suitcases with labels for outline maps and a Passport reflection questions based on topic of study.
The suitcase can be a place to store all information on the Challenge 20/20 project. A part of the class will be put in a group to make the suitcases and labels then present them to the 7th grade.
4. Stations with activities –The information for this will be kept in the suitcase. A part of the class will be put in a group to develop the activity and present it to the 7th grade.
